Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Mzizima proudly celebrated the winners and participants of the Peace Poster Contest, held under the inspiring theme “Together as One”. The prize-giving ceremony took place on Saturday, 20th September 2025, at the Russian Cultural Centre in Dar es Salaam.
The event’s Chief Guest, First Vice District Governor Lion Muslim Bharwani, presented awards to the overall winners and runners-up, alongside our Club President, Lion Qusai Khanbhai.
Distinguished guests included Second Vice District Governor Lion Bhavika Sajan, District Convenor for Peace Poster Lion Poonam Rana Acharya, Region Chairman Lion Sabira Saleh, Zone Chairman Lion Nafisa Khanbhai, District GST Coordinator Lion Jigna Shah, and dedicated members of our club.
This year’s contest brought together 30 talented students from ten primary schools, including Academic Int’l Primary and Secondary, Buza, Milestone, Atlas, King’s, Pugu, Thukad, Makumbusho, and Nice Future Primary School. Every participant was recognized and celebrated for their creativity, effort, and vision of peace.
